The maison is located in the heart of Shanghai’s Jing’an District and is a full-scale renovation project. Upon receiving the original plans, the space was rethought within the constraints of the existing structure to create a home that fulfills Renee’s pursuit of aesthetics and artistry while also meeting Michael’s focus on practicality and functionality.

A key feature of the design is the opening up of the living room and the former bedrooms on the second level, creating a larger, multifunctional space for a more comfortable experience. The interior primarily employs natural materials such as wood and stone, connecting urban living with a sense of nature and giving the space a calm, gentle atmosphere. Along the corridors, wooden surfaces serve as canvases for artwork, accommodating Renee’s ever-evolving artistic inspirations, so that the home’s completion is not an endpoint but the beginning of an ongoing creative journey.

For lighting and furnishings, classic Italian brands such as Flos and Artemide were selected, combined with furniture from Baxter, Vitra, and &Tradition. This combination brings enduring texture and contemporary sensibility to the space, allowing light, materials, and furnishings to interact fluidly, creating a home that feels lively yet timeless.

叠墅位于上海市中心静安区，是一个全屋拆改的改造项目。拿到原始图纸后，需要在有限的结构条件下重新梳理空间，让它既符合Renee对美感与艺术性的追求，也满足Michael主对实用与功能性的要求。

空间亮点上通过打通客厅与二层原有的卧室区域，释放出更多的开放多功能空间，使用体验更舒适。 室内主要采用木材、石材等自然材料，将都市生活与自然氛围连接在一起，让空间沉稳而柔和。走廊间，木面上，都是艺术品的画布。用以容纳Renee不断变化的艺术灵感，让空间的完成并非终点，而是一段持续创作的开始。

在灯光与软装的选择上，我们采用了 Flos、Artemide 等意大利经典灯具品牌，并以 Baxter、Vitra 、&Tradition等家具的组合，为空间注入恒久的质感与现代气息，使整个家在光线、材质与陈设之间形成一种灵动而永不过时的平衡。
